Signature Philosophy

For work that still feels unfinished.

What interests me is not the process or the change itself, but what it reveals about the people, the team or the organisation behind it.

Who am I

Shadi Pashaie

Systemic facilitator · MfN registered mediator · Organisational advisor

I am not only interested in what people say is going on, but above all in what is at play beneath the surface. Why a conflict keeps returning. Why a collaboration does not work despite good intentions. Why a relationship keeps landing in the same pattern. Why a team does not move, or an organisation tries to solve something that originated somewhere else.

I look at behaviour, interests, relationships and the patterns that people and systems sustain together. Sometimes a conflict is a symptom of something larger.

My work is aimed at individuals and organisations alike. I work with individuals, partners and families, but also with leaders, teams and organisations. With conflicts and negotiations from my expertise in mediation; when recurring patterns or underlying dynamics call for it, from systemic work.

That way of looking was shaped by years of experience inside complex organisations. There I saw how brilliant people and ambitious strategies are sometimes held back by something hard to grasp: clashing interests, differing cultures and work ethics, lack of clarity about roles and mandate, or patterns everyone feels but no one names.

The stance

Authority and compassion are not opposites.

I don't really believe in 'I help you grow' or in coaching language. I help make visible what you can sometimes no longer see yourself, because perspective has become too prominent, the blind spot for your own behaviour too large, and judgement clouded by interest, emotion or habit. I help and guide you in daring to look critically at your own part in a dynamic, a personal conflict, stagnating growth and convictions that have taken deep root in the subconscious.

In my work I am independent and direct, without hardening. I do not come in with a fixed method; every situation has its own history that determines what is needed. I do not avoid discomfort and I raise what others prefer to leave untouched. At the same time I keep sight of the person behind the behaviour and of the interests that lie beneath a conflict or a pattern.

I am not the one who invents the solution to a conflict. My role is to look along, make connections visible and offer another perspective. Sometimes by slowing things down, sometimes by bringing sharpness, and sometimes by simply observing longer than most people find comfortable.

I work from trust, with respect for everyone's position and responsibility. I am analytical and intuitive, practical and enquiring, critical where needed and accessible enough to be let in.

01.

Mediation

Conflict is not a breakdown. It is information, showing where a system has stopped communicating with itself. The strongest resolutions do not come from choosing a side, they come from making space for what each party has not yet said.

02.

Systemic work

What blocks progress is rarely visible. I map loyalties, old patterns and unspoken tension, so they can be changed for teams and individuals, before real conflict arises.

03.

Observing as an outsider

A third party does not have to solve anything to change everything, only to see what no one inside the system can still see and to expose it.

When the inner landscape shifts, the view of the outside world shifts with it
