The saying: "people rarely leave their jobs, they leave bad leaders" applies more broadly in my field: people rarely leave the situation itself, they leave the feeling of still having a grip on it.
The core of my work lies in a deep fascination with people, behaviour, culture and motives: why people do what they do, why dynamics get stuck, and why we are least able to judge ourselves at the most important moments. That fascination goes beyond mediating a conflict or adjusting a culture. It is about what stops people from doing what they are good at, about patterns that keep repeating, about assumptions that have quietly become steering forces, and about the moments when a team, a leader or an organisation senses that something has to change, yet their own perspective has become the only way they can reason.
