FOR ORGANISATIONS (NL/EN)

Business mediation

A conflict inside an organisation is rarely only about the two people in it. It sits on top of an unresolved dynamic: an unclear mandate, a decision never spoken out loud, a departure nobody acknowledged. I resolve the case, and I name the pattern that produced it.

WHAT I MEDIATE

01.

Employment conflict

Manager and employee stuck, long term sick leave with a conflict underneath, a disciplinary track that has hardened. I look for a workable return or a dignified exit.

02.

Management team tension

Two directors who no longer speak, a board split into camps. The organisation feels it long before it is said out loud.

03.

Teams and departments

Structural friction between functions, an escalation after a reorganisation, collaboration that keeps breaking on the same seam.

04.

Exit and settlement

Negotiating a separation agreement with the relationship intact enough to survive references, handovers and a shared network.

05.

Partners and shareholders

Founders and shareholders whose paths diverge. Value, roles and history untangled before lawyers set the terms.

06.

Complaints and integrity

Complaints about behaviour or leadership, handled carefully, confidentially, and without turning the workplace into a courtroom.

THE SYSTEMIC LAYER

The same conflict keeps returning in a different pair of people.

When a team burns through three managers in four years, the problem is not the third manager. Organisations carry unfinished business: a founder who never really left, a merger that was never mourned, a promise made and quietly dropped.

I mediate the case in front of me with full discipline, and I keep one eye on the system behind it. Where useful, the mediation is followed by a short organisational constellation or a team session, so the pattern is broken instead of relocated.

  • — Confidential for every participant, including HR and the board

  • — Typically three to five joint sessions of two hours
  • — Intake, preparation and the written agreement included in the estimate
  • — Employer and employee often share the cost, or the employer carries it
  • — Available in Dutch and English
